Rates 

Our commission rates are based on the selling price of each item.

Your earnings:

65% on items sold for under $999

75% on items sold for $1,000 or more

80% on items sold for $3,000 or more

85% on items sold for $5,000 or more

For items priced below $100, a flat fee of $35 applies.

How we price items 

Our pricing is carefully determined through market research, item condition, and current trends. We aim to set competitive prices that maximise return while ensuring a successful sale.

For items valued under $1,000, listing prices are fixed and non-negotiable.

For items priced at $1,000 and above, we’re open to discussing your preferred pricing. Please let us know at the time of booking if you have a specific requirement so we can confirm alignment.

Authentication fees

In most cases authentication of items will be included as part of our consignment service. However, in some cases this will be subject to change, please enquire for for further details.

Conditions of acceptance

Please only consign items you are fully committed to selling. Withdrawing an item after it has been listed is highly disruptive. If you’re unsure about parting with something, we kindly ask that you do not consign it. Additionally, any items consigned with High Street House must not be listed on other platforms while in our care.

All items must be in excellent condition. Before your booking, please:

Inspect each item carefully in natural light.

Disclose any flaws or alterations.

Have all pieces dry-cleaned.

Items received in a condition that does not match their description will not be listed. These must either be collected or returned to you at your expense.

When checking your items, please pay special attention to:

Inside and outside of necklines

Inside crotch areas (pants, shorts, jumpsuits)

Underarms

Hemlines

Zippers, buttons, and care labels

Any lingering odours
